PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp. 13,759/kg on Wednesday (25/9/2024), thus the price of CPO recorded an increase of Rp 189/kg, or there was an increase of about 1.39% compared to the price of CPO on Tuesday (24/9/2024), which reached Rp 13,570/kg.
From the information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco Dumai was set at Rp. 13,759/kg. The price of CPO in Belawan opened at IDR 13,759/kg, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid of IDR 13,697/kg. The price of CPO in Talang Duku was set at IDR 13,559/kg.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, palm oil futures in Malaysia extended their gains for the sixth consecutive session on Wednesday, (25/9/2024), closing at the highest level in more than two and a half months, driven by the contract price on the Dalian Exchange.
The benchmark palm oil contract price for December 2024 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 56 per ton, or about 1.4%, to RM 4,044 (US$ 979.89) per metric ton and closed at the highest level since July 5.
Then, the price of the most active Dalian soybean oil contract rose 0.58%, while the price of its palm oil contract rose 1.38%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade fell 0.23%.
