PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA –  The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR 13,125/kg on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. This represents a decline of 1.52% or IDR 203/kg compared to Tuesday’s price of IDR 13,328/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the Franco Belawan and Dumai CPO prices were set at IDR 13,125/kg, while the Franco Teluk Bayur price stood at IDR 13,015/kg. Meanwhile, Loco Sei Tapung was priced at IDR 12,906/kg.

Internationally, CPO prices also weakened. As reported by Reuters, the Malaysian palm oil market recorded another decline on Wednesday (June 11), marking the second consecutive session of losses. The benchmark August 2025 CPO contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by RM25 or around 0.65%, closing at RM3,839 per metric ton (approximately USD 906.49) — the lowest closing level since May 26.

The price pressure was driven by weaker competing vegetable oil prices and an increase in end-May inventories. Data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) showed that Malaysia’s palm oil stocks surged to an eight-month high by the end of May. This rise was attributed to higher production and imports, which offset export growth — although exports also reached a six-month high.

Despite this, cargo surveyors estimate that Malaysian palm oil product exports during June 1–10 increased by 8.1% to 26.4% compared to the same period in the previous month. However, this early-month export boost has yet to sufficiently counterbalance the pressure from oversupply.
