PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reaffirmed his commitment to environmental sustainability and public welfare by presenting key decisions and certificates at the Festival Lingkungan, Iklim, Kehutanan, dan Energi Baru Terbarukan (LIKE) 2 at the Jakarta Convention Center on Friday (9/8).
He distributed the People’s Forest Decision, Tanah Objek Reforma Agraria (TORA) certificates, Smallholders Palm Oil certificates, and Environment and Service Certificates to the public. These actions are part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the rights of individuals to sustainably and inclusively manage natural resources.
As Palmoilmagazine.com quoted from the official page of Cabinet Secretariat, Friday (9/8/2024), President did visit and see the participants’ stands in the festival. It showed innovation and program about environment, climate, forestry and new renewable energy. This could become the synergy between the government and the people to maintain the environment good and encourage to use renewable energy.

Coordinator Minister in Economy, Airlangga Hartarto; Minister of Enviornment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya Bakar; Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati; Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial/National Land Agency Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono were with the president. This showed that the government would fully encourage sustainable development.
