“We are ready to supply independent palm oil farmers with superior palm seeds, so that their productivity can increase from an average of 3 tons/hectare/year to 6-10 tons/hectare/year,” he explained.

The PSR, which is also supported by funding from the BPDP (Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency), is accelerating its implementation. BPDP funding has increased from 30 million IDR/hectare to 60 million IDR/hectare. This effort aims to support the acceleration of PSR for farmers’ palm oil plantations.

BPDP representative Dwi Nuswantoro revealed that the PSR program has experienced ups and downs. According to him, BPDP will continue to support improvement efforts and collaboration among stakeholders.

“BPDP will encourage various efforts to accelerate PSR for independent palm oil farmers, so that their harvest productivity increases,” Dwi stated.

In response to the various supports from stakeholders in the palm oil plantation industry, including the government and Baintelkam POLRI, SPKS expressed gratitude and hopes for close collaboration in the future. SPKS Chairman Sabarudin emphasized the continuation of PSR acceleration for SPKS members this year to improve the welfare of independent palm oil farmers.
