PALMOILMAGAZINE, TANGERANG – The Plantation Expo (Bunex) II in 2023 was successfully held, this event involved 123 participants consisting of 67 micro, small and medium business actors, as well as 56 business, private and association actors. They are engaged in producing seeds, technological infrastructure, equipment and machinery on plantations..

General Director of Plantation Ministry of Agriculture, Andi Nur Alamsyah said that plantation sectors successfully be the biggest contributor in agriculture that reached 93,20 percent or the transaction reached Rp 209,4 trillion.

“Plantation contributed to exports up to 12,91 percent nationally. This showed that plantation exports are one source of exchange that should be always escalated. The increasing plantation commodities in this year are from palm oil, rubber, cocoa, coconut, and coffee,” he said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com.

Bunex II also featured the launch of an independent organic factory which will be built around smallholder oil palm plantations, and the launch of downstream industries – essential oils, and a technology exhibition.

“We would conduct plantation meeting in national scale, get talk show, focus group discussion, investment forum, demonstration of plantation machines and equipment, and others. We hope everything would reinforce our economy nationally,” Andi Nur Alamsyah said. (T2)
