PALMOILMAGAZINE, KUALA LUMPUR – Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) recently took José Roberto Montenegro Baide and Anne Rosenbarger as Co-Chairs of the Board of Governors (BoG).
José Roberto is the President of AgroAmerica Tropical Oil Holding Corporation, sustainable palm oil distributor, industry, and producer. Since 1 July 2023, José officially substituted Carl Bek-Nielsen from United Plantations who was as Co-Chair RSPO BoG since 2013. Carl in BoG was as the representative of smallholders in Malaysia.
CEO RSPO, Joseph D’Cruz said, RSPO thanked Carl for helping establish partnership in RSPO until now. Carl played important roles to unite different constituents to get the same goal(s). “We depend on his sustainable contribution as substantive BoG,” he said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Thursday (6/7/2023).

Joseph D’Cruz continued, by representing smallholders whole over the world, his side hoped to work together with José as the new Co-to map what RSPO would do in the future as the sustainable and advance organization in the globe.
“It is an honor for RSPO to have leaders in our board to carry on the tens of years of experience from many perspectives,” Joseph D’Cruz said.
Together with José Roberto as Co-Chair, Anne Rosenbarger from World Resources Institute (WRI) is reelected to represent environment non-government organization constituents. Anne was Global Engagement Manager of Commodities and Finance in WRI and has been Co-Chair RSPO BoG since 2018. (T1)
