Through its network in various palm oil plantation regions, SPKS remains committed to promoting sustainable palm oil cultivation. Sabarudin emphasized that successful plantation development requires stability and government support, as a peaceful environment enables smallholders to adopt improved and sustainable practices.

“It needs partisanship from the government so that the smallholders would implement sustainable cultivation,” he said.

Even though the central, regional governments, and other civil organizations did many, it needs to accelerate the smallholders’ plantation legal for being the big issue that the new government should deal with.

SPKS hoped, by the new government, the smallholders, as one pillar of national scale development would be more solid and the smallholders would be optimist that the cooperation with the government would take this sector go forward and be better. (P2)
