PALMOILMAGAZINE, BOGOR – PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) III (Persero) is confident of achieving 100% Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certification by the end of this year.
Dwi Sutoro, Director of Marketing at PTPN III (Persero), expressed optimism about meeting this goal. “We are certain that by the end of this year, we will achieve 100% RSPO certification,” Dwi stated during a meeting with Palmoilmagazine.com in Sentul, Bogor Regency, on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
As a government-owned plantation company, PTPN III (Persero) manages a total of approximately 643,787 hectares, including 586,843 hectares of palm oil plantations, 46,534 hectares of rubber plantations, 6,254 hectares of tea plantations, and 4,254 hectares of coffee plantations, as of December 2023.

He continued, in the past two years, PTPN III (Persero) or famousy known as Holding Perkebunan Nusantara did improvement to encourage the business goal. Many related associations were taken and involved to get technical cooperation to accelerate the progress in the company in the future.
Besides focusing on getting RSPO certificate, Dwi also emphasized the company would not ignore Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate. He thought, the two would be very significant to maintain sustainable palm oil production from the upstream to downstream sectors.
By implementing everything, PTPN III hoped to realize RSPO and ISPO certifications in the same time and would escalate palm oil industrial sustainability and competitiveness in the globe. (P4)
