PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Friday, April 26th, 2024, the tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was Rp 12,130/kg, marking an increase of Rp 113/kg or approximately 0.94% from the previous Thursday’s tender, which stood at Rp 12,017/kg.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO price stood at Rp 12,130/kg in Belawan, Rp 11,930/kg in Talang Duku, Rp 11,840/kg in Teluk Bayur, and Rp 12,000/kg in Ophir, with withdrawals (WD) noted at the highest bid of Rp 6,500/kg. Similarly, in Kembayan, the CPO price was Rp 11,780/kg, also with a withdrawal at the highest bid of Rp 6,500/kg.
Palmoilmagazine.com calculations from April 22nd to April 26th, 2024, indicate that the average tender price for CPO at KPBN decreased by Rp 313.85/kg, amounting to Rp 12,203.40/kg or approximately 2.51% compared to the average tender price in the preceding week (April 16th to April 19th, 2024) which stood at Rp 12,517.25/kg.

The CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced an increase on Friday, April 26th, 2024, following two consecutive days of decline. This increase was attributed to a decrease in harvest and increased domestic demand, despite other vegetable oils being sold at Dalian, which restrained the price hike.
As reported by Reuters, the reference price for CPO for July 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM 17 per ton or approximately 0.44% to reach RM 3,891 (US$ 815.04) per metric ton during the launch break. The CPO contract price experienced a decrease of about 0.8% over the course of the week.
