PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR 14,639/kg on Monday (10/2/2025). This marks an increase of 0.69%, or approximately IDR 139/kg, compared to the CPO price on Friday (7/2/2025), which stood at IDR 14,500/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO Franco price at Belawan & Dumai was set at IDR 14,639/kg. Meanwhile, the CPO price in Talang Bayur opened at IDR 14,509/kg but was withdrawn (WD) after the highest bid reached IDR 14,489/kg.

On the international market, Reuters reported that Malaysian palm oil futures rose for the fourth consecutive session on Monday (10/2/2025). This increase followed data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), which indicated declining stock levels and expectations of rising demand, strengthening the market’s bullish sentiment.

The palm oil futures contract for April 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM 9 per ton, or approximately 2.02%, reaching RM 4,595 (US$ 1,028.65) per metric ton at the close of trading.

Additionally, Malaysia’s palm oil exports fell by 12.94% in January 2025, decreasing to 1.17 million tons from 1.34 million tons in December 2024, based on MPOB’s industry performance report.

The MPOB report also highlighted that crude palm oil (CPO) production in January declined by 16.80%, or approximately 249,864 tons, dropping to 1.24 million tons from 1.49 million tons in the previous month.

Meanwhile, soybean oil futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange rose by 0.15%, while palm oil futures increased by 1.87%. Conversely, soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade fell by 0.2%.
