KPBN Inacom’s CPO Price Declined 1.03% on Friday (25/4), While on Malaysian Exchange Increased

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTAThe crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was withdrawn (WD) during the tender on Friday, April 25, 2025. The highest bid reached Rp14,339/kg, marking a 1.03% decrease or a drop of around Rp149/kg compared to the previous day’s price of Rp14,488/kg on Thursday (April 24).

According to information received by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan opened at Rp14,470/kg but was withdrawn, with the highest bid recorded at Rp14,277/kg. Similarly, the Franco Dumai price also opened at Rp14,470/kg and was withdrawn, with the top bid at Rp14,339/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, palm oil futures on the Malaysian exchange rose on Friday (April 25, 2025), snapping a three-week losing streak. The rally was driven by stronger prices in other vegetable oils, which lifted overall market sentiment.

The benchmark palm oil futures contract for July 2025 delivery (FCPOc3) on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained RM80 per ton, or approximately 1.98%, to reach RM4,116 (US$940.80) per metric ton by midday. Over the week, the contract has risen by 3.55%.

Elsewhere, the most active Dalian soybean oil contract (DBYcv1) rose 1.84%, while its palm oil contract (DCPcv1) climbed 2.24%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (BOcv1) were also up by 1.32%.
