PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) offered through PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara remained in a withdrawn (WD) position on Friday (April 17, 2026), with the highest bid recorded at IDR 15,100 per kilogram. This reflects a decline of IDR 67 per kilogram, or about 0.44 percent, compared to the previous day’s highest bid of IDR 15,167 per kilogram.
Market data showed that the Franco Dumai price opened at IDR 15,200 per kilogram but ended in withdrawal, with the highest bid slipping to IDR 15,100 per kilogram. Similarly, the FOB Talang Duku price opened at IDR 15,000 per kilogram before being withdrawn, with the top bid recorded at IDR 14,900 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, CPO prices on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower, pressured by declining global crude oil prices and concerns over rising inventories.

Export data for April 1–15 pointed to weakening demand. Figures from Intertek Testing Services showed shipments falling to 609,868 tons from 926,602 tons in the same period last month. Likewise, AmSpec Agri Malaysia reported exports declining to 601,401 tons from 921,606 tons previously.
This trend reinforces the view that global demand for CPO remains under pressure amid volatility in energy markets and expectations of higher production.
