North Sumatra Raises Palm FFB Price to IDR 3,925.49/kg for July 15–21, 2026

PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN – North Sumatra’s Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team has announced the official palm oil FFB prices for the July 15–21, 2026 pricing period. Under the latest decision, the benchmark price for FFB harvested from 10–20-year-old oil palm trees increased by IDR 42.50/kg to IDR 3,925.49/kg compared with the previous period.

The pricing calculation was based on a reference crude palm oil (CPO) price of IDR 15,444.71/kg, a palm kernel price of IDR 14,169.10/kg, and a K Index of 93.76%, all of which are key components in determining the FFB prices received by growers across the province.

According to data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the North Sumatra Plantation and Livestock Agency, FFB prices were set at IDR 3,309.56/kg for 3-year-old palms, IDR 3,529.11/kg for 4 years, IDR 3,651.12/kg for 5 years, IDR 3,758.28/kg for 6 years, IDR 3,727.91/kg for 7 years, and IDR 3,858.65/kg for 8 years.

FFB from 9-year-old palms was priced at IDR 3,893.75/kg, while trees aged 10–20 years were valued at IDR 3,925.49/kg. Notably, the highest price during this period was recorded for 21-year-old palms, which reached IDR 3,930.70/kg.

For older plantations, FFB prices were set at IDR 3,894.63/kg for 22-year-old palms, IDR 3,839.34/kg for 23 years, IDR 3,721.80/kg for 24 years, and IDR 3,613.69/kg for 25 years.

Meanwhile, FFB from 26-year-old palms was priced at IDR 3,585.33/kg, followed by IDR 3,532.84/kg for 27 years, IDR 3,477.46/kg for 28 years, IDR 3,420.50/kg for 29 years, and IDR 3,363.55/kg for 30-year-old plantations. (P3)
