West Kalimantan Sets July 2026 Palm FFB Price at IDR 3,599.27/kg for Prime-Age Trees

PALMOILMAGAZINE, PONTIANAK – The West Kalimantan Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team has announced the official palm oil FFB prices for the second period of July 2026, covering payments for July 8–15, 2026. The highest price was set at IDR 3,599.27 per kilogram for oil palm trees aged 10–20 years, the most productive stage of the crop.

For this pricing period, the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) was established at IDR 15,191.91/kg, while the reference palm kernel price was set at IDR 13,426.01/kg. The K Index, a key component in the FFB pricing formula, was fixed at 91.28%.

According to data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the West Kalimantan Plantation and Livestock Agency, FFB prices by tree age were set at IDR 2,702.99/kg for 3-year-old palms, IDR 2,903.74/kg for 4 years, IDR 3,116.59/kg for 5 years, IDR 3,248.78/kg for 6 years, IDR 3,364.98/kg for 7 years, and IDR 3,459.40/kg for 8 years.

FFB harvested from 9-year-old palms was priced at IDR 3,524.51/kg, while trees aged 10–20 years received the highest benchmark price of IDR 3,599.27/kg.

Prices gradually declined for older plantations, with FFB from 21-year-old palms set at IDR 3,556.28/kg, 22 years at IDR 3,524.39/kg, 23 years at IDR 3,480.17/kg, 24 years at IDR 3,383.26/kg, and 25 years at IDR 3,293.29/kg.

The biweekly FFB pricing mechanism serves as a pricing benchmark for transactions between palm oil companies and partnered smallholders across West Kalimantan, reflecting prevailing market values for CPO and palm kernel products. (P3)
