PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for independent smallholder oil palm farmers in Riau Province increased during the June 24–30, 2026 pricing period, according to the latest pricing decision issued by the provincial pricing team under Decree No. 22.
Based on the agreement, the price of FFB produced by nine-year-old oil palm trees increased by IDR 11.28 per kilogram, reaching IDR 3,707.61/kg.
According to data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices for independent smallholders varied according to tree age. Three-year-old palms were priced at IDR 2,866.37/kg, while four-year-old trees reached IDR 3,199.68/kg. FFB from five-year-old palms was valued at IDR 3,436.65/kg, followed by six-year-old palms at IDR 3,569.98/kg.

Meanwhile, prices for seven-year-old and eight-year-old oil palms stood at IDR 3,650.23/kg and IDR 3,694.75/kg, respectively.
The highest prices were recorded for nine-year-old palms at IDR 3,707.61/kg, while oil palms aged between 10 and 20 years were set at IDR 3,667.79/kg. FFB prices for older plantations showed a gradual decline, with 21-year-old palms priced at IDR 3,604.85/kg and 22-year-old palms at IDR 3,532.67/kg.
Further declines were observed for older trees, with 23-year-old palms valued at IDR 3,450.61/kg, 24-year-old palms at IDR 3,388.52/kg, and 25-year-old palms at IDR 3,337.51/kg.

For plantations aged 26 years and above, FFB prices were set at IDR 3,319.16/kg for 26-year-old palms, IDR 3,290.72/kg for 27-year-old palms, IDR 3,236.89/kg for 28-year-old palms, IDR 3,197.38/kg for 29-year-old palms, and IDR 3,107.07/kg for 30-year-old palms.
The pricing formula for the period was supported by a crude palm oil (CPO) price of IDR 15,263.64/kg, a palm kernel price of IDR 12,946.00/kg, and a shell value of IDR 23.11/kg. The K index used in the calculation was set at 92.45%. (P2)
