PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender held by KPBN on Wednesday (July 15) showed firmer offer prices, although all CPO contracts ultimately ended in withdrawn (WD) status after bids failed to meet sellers’ expectations.
According to trade data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the highest offer for Franco Kuala Tanjung was set at IDR15,700 per kg, with the highest bid reaching IDR15,589 per kg from UOCI before the tender was withdrawn.
At FOB Talang Duku, the offer price stood at IDR15,500 per kg, while the highest bid reached IDR15,371 per kg from EUP. The FOB Palembang tender also carried an offer price of IDR15,550 per kg, with the highest bid of IDR15,371 per kg submitted by PSCOI. Both tenders ended in withdrawn status.

In West Kalimantan, the FOB Parba tender was offered at IDR15,350 per kg, with the highest bid of IDR15,231 per kg from EUP. The same highest bid was recorded for Loco PKS Parindu & Ngabang, where the offer price was also IDR15,350 per kg. Meanwhile, Loco PKS Kembayan was offered at IDR15,250 per kg, with the top bid reaching IDR15,131 per kg, also from EUP. All three tenders were withdrawn.
For crude palm kernel oil (CPKO), the FOB Lampung tender was offered at IDR32,618 per kg, but ended withdrawn after the highest bid of IDR30,100 per kg from AMJP.
In the palm kernel (PK) segment, Loco PKS Rantau Dua recorded a successful transaction at IDR13,793 per kg with WIRA. Meanwhile, Loco PKS Tanjung Lebar was offered at IDR13,792 per kg, but was withdrawn after receiving the highest bid of IDR8,888 per kg from SDJP.

Overall, Wednesday’s tender reflected stronger CPO offer levels compared with the previous session, although the gap between sellers’ asking prices and buyers’ bids continued to prevent transactions in most CPO and CPKO contracts. (P3)
