KPBN Inacom’s CPO tender price was unchanged at IDR 14,850/kg, while all benchmark Malaysia CPO futures contracts declined after Malaysia’s 2027 budget did not include an expected removal of the CPO export duty.

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — The PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom crude palm oil (CPO) price held at IDR 14,850/kg on Friday (Oct. 9, 2026), unchanged from Thursday, while Malaysia’s CPO futures market came under pressure, with losses reaching RM86 per tonne across the October and November 2026 contracts.

According to KPBN Inacom tender data obtained by PalmOilMagazine, CPO on a Franco Dumai basis was priced at IDR 14,850/kg. CPO FOB Talang Duku was quoted at IDR 14,600/kg, while Franco Teluk Bayur stood at IDR 14,650/kg.

In palm kernel products, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) Franco Dumai was listed as withdrawn (WD), with the highest bid at IDR 26,380/kg. Palm kernel (PK) Franco Belawan was priced at IDR 12,360/kg.

The steady KPBN tender price contrasted with the weaker performance of CPO futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, where all listed contracts ended lower on Friday.

According to Bernama, the market was pressured after Malaysia’s 2027 Budget did not announce the anticipated removal of the country’s CPO export duty. The absence of the measure raised concerns among market participants over the outlook for Malaysian palm oil trade.

The broad-based declines indicate selling pressure across the Malaysia CPO futures curve, although the magnitude of losses varied by contract. The divergence between the weaker Malaysia futures market and the unchanged KPBN tender price highlights differing price dynamics between Indonesia’s domestic physical tender market and Malaysia’s futures market.
