PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for oil palm in North Sumatra (Sumut) has seen a significant decline during the period from December 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
According to the North Sumatra FFB price determination team, the price for FFB from 10–20-year-old trees has been set at IDR 3,596.99/kg, marking a decrease of IDR 135.33/kg compared to the previous period.
Meanwhile, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 14,725.45 / kg, the price of palm kernel oil (CPKO) at IDR 11,327.31 / kg, and with a K index of 93.20%.
