Prior, The Attorney sentenced three corporates in corruption case to deliver CPO and its derivative export facility in January 2021 to March 2022.

The case was sentenced in Corruption Court of Central Jakarta Court and inkracht in cassation. Five defendants have been sentenced for 5 to 8 years in jail.

In the sentence, there was one important thing, which is, the judge thought what the defendants did was a corporate activity.

That is why the judge mentioned they got illegal profits from the corporate activity (where the defendants worked at). It means, the corporates should also be responsible to return the loss of the country for their crime.

From this, to serve the justice, The Attorney would immediately do law enforcement by investigating the corporates to get crime responsibility and get back the loss of revenue.

From the investigation three corporates have been sentences – Wilmar Group, Permata Hijau Group, and Musim Mas Group. (T2)
