PALMOILMAGAZINE, MESIR – Vice Minister of Trade of the Indonesian Republic, Jerry Sambuaga, paid a visit to SAVCO, a palm oil mill located in Egypt on Saturday, April 27th. This visit marked a significant moment for SAVCO as it aimed to establish collaboration with Sinar Mas, a prominent palm oil company in Indonesia.
SAVCO, an Egyptian palm oil mill and distributor, expressed its desire to import bulk palm oil totaling around 5,000 tons per month via tankers at Adabya Port in Egypt. Additionally, the company sought to become the agent of Sinar Mas in Egypt. This visit served as a follow-up to SAVCO’s previous visit to Sinar Mas last year, where discussions regarding cooperation proposals took place.
Jerry commended SAVCO for its keen interest in fostering strong ties with a major palm oil company in Indonesia and pledged full support for further collaboration with Sinar Mas in the future. In an official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Jerry underscored the importance of adding value to palm oil rather than solely exporting raw materials. He urged SAVCO to cultivate partnerships with various companies in Indonesia to achieve this objective.
