PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) rose to Rp 10,913/kg on Thursday (7/12/2023), indicating an increase of Rp 13/kg or approximately 0.12% compared to the Wednesday (6/12/2023) tender at Rp 10,900/kg.
According to information obtained from KPBN by Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO franco prices in Belawan and Dumai were Rp 10,913/kg, while in Talang Duku, it was Rp 10,713/kg. Additionally, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Belawan was priced at Rp 11,541/kg.
Meanwhile, at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, the CPO price experienced its fifth consecutive decrease on Thursday (7/12/2023). This marked the longest declining period since mid-September 2023. Similar trends were observed in other vegetable oils, crude oil, and the depreciation of the Malaysia ringgit, which helped limit the losses.

As reported by Reuters, the CPO reference contract with the code FCPOc3, scheduled for February 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, decreased by RM 20 per ton, approximately 0.54%, reaching RM 3,699 (US$ 791.74) per metric ton.
