The KPBN Inacom CPO tender price at the Franco Dumai basis rose IDR 130 per kg to IDR 16,018, while palm oil and competing vegetable oil markets strengthened across several regional exchanges.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — The crude palm oil (CPO) price in the PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom tender increased on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, with the highest price reaching IDR 16,018 per kg, excluding VAT.
The price was up IDR 130 per kg from IDR 15,888 per kg recorded on Monday, August 31.
According to KPBN Inacom tender data obtained by PalmOilMagazine, CPO at the Franco Dumai basis was traded at IDR 16,018 per kg from SPC.

At the CIF Gresik Port basis, the indicated price was also IDR 16,018 per kg, although the transaction status was withdrawal (WD). The bid was recorded at IDR 15,708 per kg from WNI.
Other CPO tender prices included IDR 15,768 per kg at the FOB Teluk Duku basis from PSCOI and IDR 15,818 per kg at the Franco Teluk Bayur basis from WNI.
CPO at the CIF Kijing Port and CIF Batam Port bases was each recorded at IDR 16,018 per kg from EUP.

Palm Kernel and CPKO
For palm kernels (PK), the Franco Belawan price stood at IDR 13,628 per kg from MM.
Meanwhile, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) at the Franco Dumai basis was quoted at IDR 29,780 per kg from IBP. At the FOB Bekri basis, the CPKO price stood at IDR 28,876 per kg from AMJP.

Global Vegetable Oil Market
In the Rotterdam market, CPO for the September contract was quoted at US$1,620 per metric ton, while the October contract stood at US$1,650 per ton.
Palm olein for the September and October contracts was unquoted (UNQ). Soybean oil (SBO) increased by US$5.

Coconut oil (CNO) for the September-October and October-November periods was also unquoted. Palm kernel oil (PKO) for the September-October period was quoted at US$1,975 per ton, down US$35.
In the Malaysian derivatives market, MDEX palm oil futures gained 85 ringgit. On the Dalian Commodity Exchange, soybean oil rose 91 points, while palm olein increased 110 points.
In Jakarta, refined oil prices were reported at IDR 19,350–19,500 per kg.

The Indonesian rupiah was quoted at IDR 17,723 per US dollar. Gold stood at US$4,434.56 per troy ounce, while crude oil was quoted at US$86.68 per barrel.
The increase in the KPBN Inacom tender price brought CPO at the Franco Dumai basis back above the IDR 16,000 per kg level at the beginning of September. (P3)
