Agrinas Palma Nusantara Delivers Aid to 1,560 Earthquake-Affected People in NTT

PALMOILMAGAZINE, NAGEKEO, EAST NUSA TENGGARA — PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) has distributed humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), reaching around 1,560 people across several affected areas.

The aid was distributed from Friday to Sunday, August 28–30, 2026, through the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Disaster Response Post and in collaboration with several social organizations operating in affected areas.

The assistance targeted earthquake-affected residents, vulnerable groups, children, and places of worship damaged by the disaster. In addition to basic necessities, Agrinas Palma Nusantara provided clean water, tents, generators, lighting packages, and psychosocial support for children in Neoniba Hamlet.

Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at Agrinas Palma Nusantara, Moch Gatut Mukti, said the assistance reflected the company’s commitment to supporting communities facing the impact of the disaster.

“This assistance is a form of our concern and commitment to stand alongside communities affected by the earthquake in NTT. We hope the assistance can ease their burden and provide support during the recovery process,” Gatut said in a statement received by PalmOilMagazine  on Wednesday (Sept. 2).

He expressed hope that the people of NTT would be given strength and resilience as the post-disaster recovery process continues.

Beyond meeting basic needs, Agrinas Palma Nusantara also extended support to children affected by the disaster. The company provided financial assistance to a promising young football athlete in NTT as part of its support for the aspirations and future of the region’s younger generation.

One of the aid recipients expressed appreciation for Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s support for communities affected by the earthquake.

The humanitarian assistance forms part of Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s efforts to support communities affected by the earthquake in NTT. The company expects the support, ranging from basic necessities to facilities and assistance for children, to help ease the burden on affected residents and contribute to the post-disaster recovery process.
