Palm Oil Magazine - CPO Price at KPBN Inacom Rises 0.55% on Friday (27/9), Weekly Average Up 4.42%

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom on Friday, September 27, 2024, reached Rp 14,004/kg, an increase of Rp 76/kg or 0.55% from the previous day’s tender of Rp 13,928/kg.

According to information Palmoilmagazine.com obtained from KPBN, the CPO price in Belawan and Dumai was Rp 14,004/kg, while in Parindu, the CPO price was Rp 13,554/kg.

According to Palmoilmagazine.com records for the period of September 23-27, 2024, the average tender price of CPO at KPBN increased by Rp 582.70/kg, to Rp 13,780.20/kg or 4.42% higher than the previous week’s average price of Rp 13,197.50/kg (September 17-20, 2024).

According to Reuters, the CPO contract price on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell on Friday, September 27, 2024, after a seven-session rally. This decline was driven by lower crude oil prices and a stronger Malaysian ringgit, which pressured the market.

The December 2024 CPO reference contract price on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped by RM 25 per ton, or about 0.6%, to RM 4,127 (US$ 1,000.24) per metric ton during the early trading session.

Soyoil contract price at Dalian got increased 0,1% and so did CPO contract price that reached 1,06%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade got decreased 0,37%.
