PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – The price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) from independent smallholders in Riau Province recorded a decline for the period of June 11–17, 2025. According to Decree No. 19 issued by the Riau Independent FFB Pricing Team, the price for 9-year-old palm oil trees fell by Rp57.83/kg, setting the new price at Rp3,293.89/kg.
For this period, the benchmark crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at Rp13,401.40/kg, while the palm kernel price reached Rp12,065.00/kg. The value of palm shell was recorded at Rp25.67/kg, with a K index of 92.42%.
Based on data from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, here are the detailed independent FFB prices by plant age:
- Age 3 years: Rp2,550.52/kg
- Age 4 years: Rp2,844.67/kg
- Age 5 years: Rp3,053.11/kg
- Age 6 years: Rp3,170.77/kg
- Age 7 years: Rp3,242.12/kg
- Age 8 years: Rp3,281.38/kg
- Age 9 years: Rp3,293.89/kg
- Age 10–20 years: Rp3,259.47/kg
- Age 21 years: Rp3,204.48/kg
- Age 22 years: Rp3,141.19/kg
- Age 23 years: Rp3,069.23/kg
- Age 24 years: Rp3,014.74/kg
- Age 25 years: Rp2,970.03/kg
The adjustment reflects market conditions and regular evaluations by the pricing authority to ensure fair compensation for independent palm oil farmers. (P3)
