PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Friday, August 11, 2023, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in the stock trading decreased by 0.19 percent or 13.30 points, reaching the level of 6,879.98. In the morning, IHSG started with a gain, opening at 6,899.62 compared to the previous afternoon (August 10) closing at 6,893.28. Throughout the trading session, IHSG fluctuated between the levels of 6,865.11 and 6,906.64.
Despite the initial gain at the opening, the IHSG gradually declined during the morning. However, in the afternoon, it regained some momentum and closed the trading session at the level of 6,879.98.
Based on observations from Palmoilmagazine.com at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), there were a total of 933 thousand transactions with a stock trading value of Rp. 7.46 Trillion. Over the weekend, the resilience of stock investors also started to wane after the initial enthusiasm at the beginning of the week.
