PALMOILMAGAZINE, MARUNDA – Apical, a leading vegetable oil processor and sustainable palm cooking oil producer, has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the availability of cooking oil for the public throughout Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. This initiative supports the government’s efforts to meet the demand for MINYAKITA, the subsidized cooking oil brand.
On March 11, 2025, North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol H. Ahmad Fuady S.H., S.I.K., M.H., along with his team, inspected Apical’s facility in Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta. The visit aimed to verify the stock availability and compliance of MINYAKITA with production standards.
“We conducted an on-site inspection of the production and packaging processes to ensure that the 1-liter MINYAKITA packaging meets the required standards. After checking Apical’s products, we found that the volume is compliant—exceeding even 1 liter,” Ahmad Fuady stated in his remarks to Palmoilmagazine.com on Wednesday (March 12, 2025).

Yudhi Damri, SSL & GA Manager at PT Asianagro Agungjaya (Apical), welcomed the visit and reiterated the company’s commitment to producing high-quality cooking oil that aligns with government regulations.
“Apical remains dedicated to maintaining the availability of cooking oil, both premium and affordable options like MINYAKITA, at the regulated retail price (HET). Every Ramadan and Eid, we strive to ensure a stable supply to meet public demand,” Yudhi explained.
As part of the Packaged People’s Cooking Oil (MGKR) program, MINYAKITA is produced by various manufacturers, including Apical, to provide affordable cooking oil. The Ministry of Trade has set a maximum retail price (HET) of Rp 15,700 per liter for this product.
Beyond maintaining price compliance, Apical also regularly educates its partners to adhere to Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and accurate product weight specifications. Since 2022, the company has operated a consumer complaint service via email at minyakita@apicalgroup.com, offering information and education on MINYAKITA and the HET policy.
“Consumers who purchase Apical-produced MINYAKITA can report cases of overpricing so that regulators can monitor and take necessary actions. Through these collective efforts, we hope to maintain price stability and raise public awareness about this program,” Yudhi concluded. (P2)
