Regent of Kampar Urges Palm Oil Mills to Buy Smallholders FFB at Fair Prices

PALMOILMAGAZINE, KAMPAR – The District of Kampar in Riau Province now boasts a total of 46 palm oil mills, including the recent inauguration of PT. Makmur Palma Lestari’s (MPL) mill located in the Village of Sumber Sari, Subdistrict of Tapung Hulu.

Regent in duty of Kampar, Mhd. Firdaus said, by the operational of the mill, District of Kampar multiplies its palm oil mill in the region. “District of Kampar is the one biggest palm oil producer in Riau Province,” he said, as quoted from Tribun Pekanbaru.

He also hoped, the mill could multiply its fresh fruit bunch from the smallholders’ plantation production and should buy it in normal price.
