PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Crude Palm Oil (CPO) price at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) tender rose to Rp 11,123/kg on Monday (11/12/2023), marking an increase of Rp 77/kg or approximately 0.76% compared to Friday’s (8/12/2023) auction, which stood at Rp 11,046/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO price was Rp 11,123/kg in both Kuala Tanjung and Dumai. In Talang Duku, it was recorded at Rp 10,923/kg, while in Teluk Bayur, it stood at Rp 10,993/kg.

Meanwhile, CPO trading at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced a decline on Monday (11/12/2023). This downturn is attributed to a decrease in exports, possibly indicating reduced demand in the early days of the cold season.

As reported by Reuters, the CPO contract price with the code FCPOc3, set for delivery in February 2024 at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, decreased by RM 13 per ton or about 0.35%, settling at RM 3,727 (US$ 796.54) per ton during midday trading.
