CPO Price at KPBN Tender Rose 0,69% on Tuesday (12/12)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Tuesday (12/12/2023), the tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) rose to Rp 11,200/kg. This marked an increase of Rp 77/kg or approximately 0.69% compared to the Monday (11/12/2023) tender, which stood at Rp 11,123/kg.

According to information obtained from KPBN, the CPO Franco prices in Belawan and Dumai were both Rp 11,200/kg, while Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Dumai was priced at Rp 11,607/kg.

Meanwhile, the trading of CPO at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced a third consecutive increase on Tuesday (12/12/2023). This upward trend was attributed to the rising cost of soyoil and predictions of a decline in the overall supply.

According to Reuters, the reference contract for CPO with the code FCPOc3, set for delivery in February 2024 at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, increased by RM 14 per ton or approximately 0.37%, reaching RM 3,755 (US$ 802.35) per ton in the early session.

  • CPO : Franco Belawan and Dumai Rp. 11.200-PPI, PII
  • CPKO : Dumai Rp. 11.607-MM. (T2)
