PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – Prices of plasma smallholders’ fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in Riau Province increased for the May 13–19, 2026 period following the latest pricing decision issued by the provincial palm oil FFB pricing team.
Based on Price Determination Letter No. 16 for the May 13–19, 2026 period, the price for 9-year-old oil palm trees rose by IDR 25.53 per kilogram to IDR 3,900.46 per kilogram.
According to data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices for various plant age categories were set at different levels. Palm trees aged 3 years were priced at IDR 3,014.39 per kilogram, 4 years at IDR 3,409.75 per kilogram, 5 years at IDR 3,611.47 per kilogram, and 6 years at IDR 3,767.61 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, prices for 7-year-old palms reached IDR 3,849.62 per kilogram, while 8-year-old palms were set at IDR 3,895.00 per kilogram.
The benchmark category for 9-year-old palms was established at IDR 3,900.46 per kilogram. For trees aged between 10 and 20 years, the FFB price was determined at IDR 3,880.44 per kilogram.
Older plantations recorded lower prices, including IDR 3,820.66 per kilogram for 21-year-old palms, IDR 3,763.67 per kilogram for 22-year-old palms, IDR 3,702.48 per kilogram for 23-year-old palms, and IDR 3,635.56 per kilogram for 24-year-old palms.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old palms were priced at IDR 3,560.14 per kilogram. Trees aged 26 years were set at IDR 3,514.57 per kilogram, 27 years at IDR 3,468.96 per kilogram, 28 years at IDR 3,424.74 per kilogram, 29 years at IDR 3,407.67 per kilogram, and 30-year-old palms at IDR 3,393.44 per kilogram.
For the current pricing period, crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 15,454.71 per kilogram, while palm kernel prices reached IDR 15,096.01 per kilogram. Shell value was determined at IDR 17.90 per kilogram, with the K index recorded at 92.08%. (P2)
