PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk. (TLDN) has officially acquired 100% of shares in PT Cipta Davia Mandiri (CDM), marking a significant step in the company’s long-term expansion strategy. The acquisition is expected to increase TLDN’s managed plantation area and enhance fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production capacity, particularly through stronger collaboration with plasma farmers and independent smallholders in surrounding operational areas.
Wasisto B. Sulistio, Head of Corporate Finance and Strategy at TLDN, stated that the move aligns with the company’s broader vision to solidify its production base and advance its sustainability practices.
“This acquisition is not just about expanding land and production potential; it’s also about improving infrastructure and support systems to boost FFB volumes,” he said during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders press conference, attended by Palmoilmagazine.com on Thursday (April 24, 2025) in Jakarta.

In line with its sustainability agenda, TLDN recently completed construction of its first Kernel Crushing Plant (KCP) on November 5, 2024. The facility, with a processing capacity of 100 tons per day, enables the company to convert palm kernels into palm kernel oil—diversifying its product offerings and contributing positively to revenue streams.
TLDN has also inaugurated a 1.2-megawatt biomass power plant, built by its subsidiary PT Ranjani Jaya Lestari. The facility utilizes liquid waste from the company’s palm oil mill, PT Teladan Prima Sawit, as a renewable energy source, reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
“This marks a new chapter for TLDN in renewable energy, supporting the sustainability of our operations, especially in East Kutai, East Kalimantan,” Wasisto added.
TLDN’s sustainability focus also extends to social initiatives. In 2024, the company launched a scholarship program aimed at enhancing human capital development. It also introduced health support programs for both employees and livestock, providing medical equipment and veterinary care facilities.
With these initiatives, TLDN reinforces its identity as an agribusiness committed not only to economic growth but also to environmental responsibility and community empowerment. (P2)
