TAPG Reaffirms Sustainability Commitment at 2025 Annual Shareholders Meeting

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (IDX: TAPG) reinforced its dedication to sustainable development during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Monday (25/04) at Oakwood, Jakarta. Shareholders approved all proposed agendas, including the ratification of the 2024 financial statements and amendments to the company’s Articles of Association.

Tjandra Karya Hermanto, President Director of TAPG, emphasized the company’s ongoing efforts to build a responsible and adaptable business amid global challenges. “We believe sustainable growth can only be achieved through continuous improvement, environmental stewardship, and strong engagement with stakeholders,” he said in an official statement received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Tuesday (April 29, 2025).

In line with its vision of Green Plantation for a Better Quality Life, TAPG presented several key sustainability initiatives. Among them is a housing renovation and sanitation project aimed at improving community welfare, aligning with Indonesia’s national development agenda, Asta Cita.

The company is also actively supporting national food security programs by participating in the one-million-hectare corn planting initiative and cultivating rice on dry land. In the area of human capital development, TAPG has launched a school milk program for children living near its plantations, in collaboration with local health posts (Posyandu), as part of broader efforts to reduce stunting.

TAPG continues to empower smallholder farmers through the Palm Oil Farmer Training Program (P2KS), which saw 137 participants last year. In 2025, the company aims to engage over 600 farmers to boost productivity and improve livelihoods.

Since 2018, TAPG has consistently implemented the Desa Makmur Peduli Api (DMPA) program, integrating fire prevention with rural economic development. This initiative has supported the establishment of community enterprises and directly benefited more than 11,000 households.

Tjandra also expressed optimism about Indonesia’s economic outlook following the 2024 political transition. He hopes the new administration will continue to drive downstream industrialization and structural reforms to enhance the country’s global competitiveness.

“Overall, we are confident in Indonesia’s economic growth prospects over the next five years,” he concluded.

Through these initiatives, TAPG continues to position itself as a key contributor to sustainable national development, staying true to its mission as a Green Plantation for a Better Quality Life. (P2)
