PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The DxP Dami Mas IGR (Intermediate Ganoderma Resistant) seed variety became the highlight of the customer gathering hosted by PT Dami Mas Sejahtera, the seed division of Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food. The event, held on Thursday (September 18, 2025), was attended by nearly 100 customers.

Developed through extensive research and rigorous field trials by the SMART Research Institute (SMARTRI), this superior seed variety offers resistance to Ganoderma boninense, the basal stem rot disease that has long been one of the most serious threats to oil palm plantations. In infected areas, DxP Dami Mas IGR has shown performance up to 50% better compared with conventional varieties.
