PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was recorded to have increased to Rp 10,800/kg on Monday (25/9/2023).
Thus, the CPO price increased by around Rp 24/kg, compared to the CPO price on Friday (22/9/2023) which reached Rp 10,700/kg.
From information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the following is a breakdown of the results of the CPO Tender at KPBN (Rp./Kg), Excld VAT for the period Monday (25/9/2023):
- Franco Belawan & Dumai IDR 10,800-MM, EOP
- Talang Duku IDR 10,600-EOP

Meanwhile, CPO trading on the Malaysian Exchange recorded an increase. As reported by Reuters, the price of the benchmark palm oil contract coded FCPOc3 for December 2023 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 27 per ton, or an increase of around 0.73%, to RM 3,708 (US$ 791.80) per metric ton in early trading. Earlier in the week, palm oil contract prices fell 2.75%. (T2)
