CPO Price at KPBN Soared Rp 174/Kg on Friday (29/9)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Friday (29/9/2023), the price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was recorded to have increased to Rp 11,009 / kg

Thus the CPO price increased by around Rp 174 / kg, when compared to the CPO price on Wednesday (27/9/2023) which reached Rp 10,835 / kg.

The following are the details of the KPBN CPO Tender results (Rp./Kg), Excld VAT for the period Friday (29/9/2023), from information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN:

  • Franco KualaTanjung, Belawan & Dumai Rp. 11,009-MNA, WNI
  • Talang Duku IDR 10,809-WNI

Meanwhile, CPO trading on the Malaysian Exchange also recorded an increase. Reported by Reuters, the price of the benchmark palm oil contract coded FCPOc3 for December 2023 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM 30 per ton or an increase of around 0.80%, to RM 3,801 (US$ 810.97) per metric ton. Previously, the contract price fell to RM 3,750 per ton at the start of the session. (T2)
