PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA/GAPKI) will again hold the 19th Indonesian Palm Oil Conference and 2024 Price Outlook (IPOC 2023) which will be held on November 1-3, 2023 at the Bali International Convention Center, Westin Resort, Nusadua Bali, with the theme “Enhancing Resiliency Amid Market Uncertainty.”

IPOC is a forum for national and international stakeholders to jointly discuss strategic issues surrounding the palm oil industry. In addition to the conference, there will also be an exhibition to provide information on the latest developments in technology, products, and services in the palm oil industry.

With the high interest of participants every year, this year’s conference will be held face-to-face to increase the enthusiasm of participants. This year’s conference is optimistically expected to reach 1,500 participants from around the world.

IPOC 2023 Chairperson Mona Surya said, IPOC 2023 is planned to be opened by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartanto, and attended by other ministers including the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and the Minister of Trade to give special addresses related to government policies and strategies in increasing the competitiveness of the sustainable palm oil industry.

“This conference offers an analysis of the world vegetable oil market situation in relation to the latest global regulations and their impact on the palm oil industry, Indonesia’s palm oil policy and market perspectives from palm oil importing countries,” Mona was quoted as saying by Palmoilmagazine.com  who attended the press conference.

In addition, the world’s palm oil supply and demand situation, as well as the price outlook for the coming year, will be discussed, “with senior global vegetable oil expert speakers to uncover price trends, such as Thomas Mielke (Oil World), Nagaraj Meda (Transgraph) and Dorab Mistry (Godrej International Ltd),” Mona explained.
