PALMOILMAGAZINE, NORTH BENGKULU – The Regency of North Bengkulu, through its Plantation Agency, has distributed cultivation documents to smallholders in Taba Tembilang Village. The handover took place at the office of Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Bina Karya Mandiri, marking a significant milestone for the smallholders in formalizing the legal status of their plantation areas.
In his speech, the Regent of North Bengkulu, H. Mian, emphasized the importance of legalizing smallholders’ plantation activities. “The regency is giving special attention to smallholders by issuing these cultivation documents. These certificates are crucial for verifying land ownership and will open access to government programs, both at the central and regional levels,” he said, as quoted by Palmoilmagazine.com from the regency’s official website, Sunday (September 22, 2024).
With these cultivation documents, smallholders will have easier access to technical assistance, training, and other support needed to improve their plantations and overall welfare.
