The KPBN Inacom CPO tender ended in withdraw, with the highest bid at IDR14,808/kg, while most Bursa Malaysia contracts gained as much as RM53 per tonne amid higher Malaysian palm oil stocks and production.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — The KPBN Inacom crude palm oil (CPO) tender ended in withdraw (WD) on Monday (Oct. 12, 2026), with the highest bid at IDR14,808/kg, down IDR42/kg, or 0.28%, from the IDR14,850/kg level recorded on Friday (Oct. 9).
Information from KPBN showed that CPO opening prices varied across delivery points, but tenders at all listed locations ended in WD after the bids failed to result in completed transactions.
For Franco Dumai, the CPO tender opened at IDR14,950/kg, with the highest bid reaching IDR14,808/kg. At FOB Talang Duku, the opening price was IDR14,700/kg, while the highest bid was IDR14,552/kg.
At Franco Teluk Bayur, the tender opened at IDR14,750/kg and received a highest bid of IDR14,489/kg.
The gap between opening prices and submitted bids indicates that buyers did not meet the levels set for the tender. Because all tenders ended in WD, the highest bids should not be interpreted as final transaction prices.

The contrasting performance between Indonesia’s domestic tender market and Bursa Malaysia futures highlights differences in market structure and trading dynamics. While the KPBN tender ended without a completed transaction, most Malaysian futures contracts strengthened despite higher Malaysian palm oil stocks and production.
Export developments and the balance between supply and demand will remain key indicators for the direction of CPO prices in the next trading sessions. (P3)
