PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Trisakti University, through its Center for Entrepreneurship, Change, and Third Sector (CECT) Sustainability, has made history by becoming the first Indonesian university to join the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). This achievement highlights the university’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices in the palm oil industry.

CECT Sustainability is renowned for its cutting-edge research, educational programs, and outreach initiatives in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. As a member of the RSPO, CECT Sustainability will leverage its academic expertise to conduct advanced research on sustainable palm oil practices, environmental impacts, and social implications.

In addition to research, CECT Sustainability will support implementation of CSR/sustainability initiatives and offer educational programs and workshops focused on sustainability and best practices in the palm oil sector.

The center will facilitate dialogue and collaboration among producers, consumers, NGOs, and government bodies, aligning strategies for sustainable outcomes. Through expert insights and policy advocacy, CECT Sustainability will support sustainable palm oil production and create a supportive policy environment. The center will also engage with smallholders and local communities to raise awareness about the benefits of sustainable palm oil practices.
